One of the most popular posts on Bright Bold and Beautiful is about Sliding Barn Doors. You can check it out here. I guess I am not the only one who loves incorporating these cool barn doors into homes. I get a lot of questions about how and where to get the look. Let’s face it. It’s not that hard to come across an old barn door, but getting the right hardware takes a little know how. So when Barn Door Hardware approached me, I was very interested. If you haven’t heard of Barn Door Hardware, they handle all types of sliding door hardware for doors weighing 50 lbs to 5000 lbs. I think that pretty much covers most doors, don’t you?

Where to Place Barn Doors:

In the top photo, this reclaimed wooden door offers a nice division in between rooms. I am loving the mint green color choice too. For another idea, you can incorporate two doors in the bedroom, one for the bath and the other for the closet. Lastly, barn doors are a wonderful decorative look for open floor plans in between the kitchen and living room.
