For kitchen island ideas, how about a second one? Niki and Bradley Davidson, of Davidson Builders, design another island in their kitchen, made of all drawers on the front for storage. They are always coming up with new and creative ideas for their home {and yours!}

“The top is made from 4” thick reclaimed ash wood beams that we joined together. The bricks on the rear are reclaimed from a very old structure. I used a cream colored mortar to work with the cabinets. The stool tops are made of reclaimed wood as well.” states Bradley.
There are so many things I love about this kitchen. The wood top is so cool and a popular 2013 home decor trend. I love the look of exposed brick and the reclaimed brick side adds so much character. Thank you Bradley for sharing another creative idea for the home.
