When it comes to dinner parties, Amy and Mary Marshall know how to entertain with style. Here are a few dinner party tips for your next gathering, whether large or small.
Dinner Party Tips
- For starters, have fresh flowers in every room. I love these simple one flower vases with bright sunflowers in the kitchen window sill.
- As the guests arrive, pass around a delicious starter. Amy and Mary Marshall served chilled tomato gazpacho and cold cucumber soup in shot glasses. How fun! They were both delicious.
- It’s all in the details. Display bright colored napkins all tied in bows on a lucite tray. Presentation is everything.
- Add a pretty centerpiece for the table: Tulips are always a favorite.
- Prints and Patterns: Add color to your table display with trays and napkins with fun prints and designs.
- Desserts: Don’t forget the cupcakes! Serve bite size so your guests can have two {or in my case, three!}
Thank you ladies for your tips. You are both always the “Hostess with the Mostess”.
