For today’s Boca Home Tour, BB&B takes you inside a Boca home with 24 foot ceilings, an exquisite art collection and a dreamy backyard retreat with a pool set among a tropical paradise. I knew I was in for a treat as soon as I pulled into the driveway and gazed upon the gorgeous palm trees and purple flowers in the front yard.
I stepped inside and was in awe of the grand living room with 24 foot ceilings that looked out into the pool area. You have heard the saying, “It’s in the details.” Well, notice the vaulted ceilings with wood beams and a rich warm red color that pulls your eyes up. It’s really magnificent in person.
I turned to my left and entered the stately dining room with a bold color palette. The walls are painted a paprika color with a darker complimentary color above the trim. The vaulted ceiling is painted yet another color with a gold faux finish on top. Wow, this is extraordinary! The warm rich colors are bold and daring.
I continued on into the more casual living area with the beautiful and bright breakfast nook. Once again, notice the painted ceiling with turquoise color and a white trim color. As a lover of art, I was drawn to the bright and beautiful paintings on the wall. This is my favorite spot, especially with the grass centerpiece. I love it!
On the way to the bedroom, there is a dynamic hallway that commands your attention.
The neutral bedroom colors are soothing and calming. I love plantation shutters in bedrooms.
Throughout this exquisite home, the owners have quite the art collection from artist, Nakayama. There is so much detail in these extraordinary wood block prints. Here are a few.
As we walked outside, their lovely home is situated right on the golf course. I could have stayed here all day.
I have respected the wishes of the owners who requested to remain anonymous. I do however, need to thank them so much for their hospitality and letting me share their lovely home with BB&B readers.
