Happy Weekend! As you have some down time today, take a peek into these beautiful photos of a Swedish Summer table setting. Anna Truelsen, interior stylist of my lovely things is amazing. I love her pretty vignettes with glass bottles, candles and flowers for a midsummer setting. The arrangement is so simple, yet so beautiful. I like the different colored glass bottles mixed together as well.
The Dala horses used in the table setting are rich in the Swedish tradition, and they make a wonderful and unique centerpiece. The Dala horse is a traditional carved and painted wooden statuette originating in the Swedish province of Dalarna. In the old days the Dala horse was mostly used as a toy for children. Today it has become a symbol of Sweden. Everything looks lovely. The fresh strawberries in the juice glasses are the perfect finishing touch.
