Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful for all we have. I am thrilled to kick off the “I am Thankful For…” series with Amber from Simple Dwellings ~ thank you Amber!

Hi! I’m Amber from Simple Dwellings and I was so excited when Laura asked me to be a part of her November Series, I Am Thankful For… With the holidays fast approaching, there is always the fast paced, hustle and bustle events to think about. That’s why I love Laura’s idea to take a minute and reflect on what’s most important and what we are all thankful for in the holiday season. For me, I can sum it up with 3 special gifts:
1. First and foremost, I am so thankful for my wonderful family. They keep me laughing daily and fill me with so much love! I smile every day because of them.

2. I am also thankful for the amazingly supportive blogging community. I started my design blog in January, and I never knew how rewarding and fun it would become. I have met so many friends along the way and I am always in awe of the creativity and appreciation for all things design. It has been such a fun journey so far! I have learned so much about creative thinking through design and amazing DIY projects. Bloggers are a very talented group of people!

3. And last but not least, I am thankful for this past year! It has been so exciting, fun and has lead me on a new endeavor. With the support of my family and friends, I started Simple Dwellings Interiorsa new decorating business! It has always been my dream to turn my design hobby into a day job, and I am so thankful for the loving support of my family and friends to give me the courage to try!

Thank you so much for having me here, Laura! This was so fun to think about. I am now in the right mindset for the holiday season!
