For me personally, I don't like mixing different kinds of colors (especially the bright ones) to my home. But I have to make an exception to the kitchen. My living room and bedroom has monotone hues. However, my kitchen area has four bright colors in perfect mix and match.

I just love this kind of layout. It can make your cooking more enjoyable and the surrounding area more ambient.
