Colorful Front Doors ~ What Color is Yours

When I was riding around noticing all the colorful front doors, I realized I will have to post this again when the Spring flowers are blooming! So stay tuned for a part II. What color is your front door?

What color is your front door? Ours is black and I have always wanted to paint it fire engine red. It sounds like I have a new project!

What a great post on front doors Laura. Ours is Zuider Zee Blue, a particular blue that was popular in the 18th century which I feel goes well with cedar shingles. It's special Dutch paint from Fine Paints of Europe with an ultra glossy look and very durable finish. Everyone should know about this special door paint — I swear by it! Gorgeous front doors. Ours is a medium blue called Georgian Bay by Benjamin Moore. I love it with the reddish-orange brick.

My door it is painted in black and white. I like it but i want one painted in black and red.

I live in a condo, so now my door is white. I love a bright front door though…and I may be the only person in the world who HATES a red door(for some reason it makes me think someone will see it then want to murder me) but I am loving the blue and purple. Great post!

All of these front doors are wonderful! Ours is a sort of pale, but bright and cheery, limey-Granny Smith apple green with white indents (it is that plain old door you see everywhere, came with the house and until we find a nice vintage one, I have dressed it up with colour!). I painted our garage door to match. It certainly brightens the house up and makes it look so cheerful!

Our neighbors across the street have a deep plum-coloured door, and a few doors down, someone painted theirs a butter yellow.

It's really hard to choose between these doors. But if I really have to choose, then it's the red one. I would like to have one of these doors in my dream house someday.
